Ampero GmbH is the software company of BayWa r.e., a multinational company leading the renewable energy sector with over 4,000 employees across 30 countries.

Recognizing the need for advanced software solutions to optimise renewable energy investments, BayWa r.e. acquired the company Kaiserwetter in 2021. In 2023 we rebranded. Today, Ampero brings together the best of both worlds: state-of-the-art portfolio management software developed by experts from the renewable energy and the software industry. This was a significant step in combining the agile environment of an innovative software company with the strong network of a global renewable energy pioneer.
